Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 April 2026 · Governed by New Zealand law
1. Parties and Eligibility
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between Halcyon Technologies Limited (“Admitto”, “we”, “us”) and the individual or entity (“Adviser”, “you”) accessing the Admitto platform (“Service”).
The Service is available only to persons who are:
- — Licensed immigration advisers under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007, or
- — Organisations employing such licensed advisers in connection with their licensed activities, or
- — Accredited employers assessing their own AEWV eligibility requirements.
By creating an account, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not.
2. Nature of the Service — Not Legal or Immigration Advice
Admitto is a software tool. It does not constitute immigration advice, legal advice, or any regulated professional service.
Assessment outputs are generated by a combination of deterministic rules and AI language models. They are indicative only. No output should be relied upon as a final determination of eligibility. The Adviser is solely responsible for:
- — Verifying all assessment results against current INZ operational instructions and policy
- — The accuracy of all client data entered into the platform
- — All immigration advice given to their clients
- — Compliance with the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007 and IAA Code of Conduct
3. Subscription and Payment
Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions renew automatically on the same day each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice to your registered email address.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- — Share account credentials with unlicensed persons
- — Use the Service to assess visa eligibility for yourself as the applicant (personal use)
- — Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract assessment rules or corpus data
- — Submit false or misleading client data
- — Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law
5. Intellectual Property
All software, assessment logic, UI, and corpus content is the intellectual property of Halcyon Technologies Limited. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your licensed immigration advisory activities during your active subscription.
Assessment reports generated for your clients using the Service may be used in your professional practice. Admitto retains no ownership over client data you input.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Admitto's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Admitto is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of revenue, loss of clients, or immigration outcomes, even if advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply.
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be communicated where practicable. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic, Stripe).
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. On termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately. Data retention and deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Auckland, New Zealand.
